brings together those who design and specify masonry products with those who manufacture, sell, and install masonry products. The focus is on masonry fireplaces and chimneys but actually includes the entire residential masonry industry.At the National Gypsum Company's Web site,
you can view and download CAD drawings (DXF and DWG file formats) and specifications, and
get submittal forms for printing on your local laser printer. All of this is organized by
CSI Master Format Number. Also find your nearest distributor of the company's line of Gold
Bond building products.
DESIGN RELATED WEB SITES
The ASID (American Society of Interior
Designers) Web site is a fledgling at the moment. Intended to serve the interests of both
consumers and interior designers, it features a simple home page with toll free numbers to
reach the ASID World Wide Referral Service. Also a page of headlines about interior design
industry news. Stay tuned for more features.
PAIRC (Planning and Architecture Internet
Resource Center) now contains links to over 2,100 Web, Gopher, and FTP sites with urban
planning, architecture, and landscape architecture related information. Most links have
annotated descriptions. PAIRC also contains information about 110 architecture and
planning related mailing lists.
HomeArts House & Garden "Hot Link
of the Day"
includes an archive of editors' picks and reviews as featured on the Hearst
Corporation's consumer-oriented Web site.
