Discover the Hudson River Villages!
Strolling our Main Streets is always an adventure with a river view. You'll find wonderful restaurants, charming boutiques and stores, antique shops and art galleries in each of our villages and towns.
Visit our extraordinary historic sites and museums, take in an evening of entertainment in our performing arts centers.
The past is present here, where prominent Americans such as Washington Irving, Jay Gould, and John D. Rockefeller created great estates that visitors can enjoy today.
Country pleasures await you, too, in our parks and nature preserves, where you will find scenic hiking trails, mountaintop river vistas, quiet streams, shady picnic spots, and access to the Hudson for boating and fishing.
Our towns are closely linked by the river, as well as by the Metro North railroad's Hudson River Line, with a station stop in each community. We also share the Old Croton Aqueduct, which was built long ago to carry water to New York City and now serves as a superb walking trail through our villages from Hastings to the Croton Dam.
